A guide to checking care

Put every charge in writing

Get a price for the complete care plan.

Request a written breakdown before paying. Compare the same set of services, over the same period of time.

There is no official medicine price available to quote.

BPC-157 had no approved medicine as of September 28, 2026, so no drug maker’s list price or government price existed for it.

The price a drug maker publishes is called its list price.

Read the basisFDA drug application records

Ask the service you are checking to put its proposed charges in writing.

Ask what each charge covers.

  • What is the charge for the assessment alone?

  • What would I pay for the proposed medicine, delivery and any supplies?

  • Are tests or later visits extra, and what is their full cost?

  • Is there a recurring membership or a minimum payment commitment?

Ask what is due before care starts. Also ask for one total covering all charges from the start of care through the next review visit, including that visit. Have the service write down the date of that visit and flag anything it cannot price yet.

Get a separate answer from the insurer.

Ask the service for the exact name of each proposed service or product. Give those details to your insurer and ask for a written coverage answer.

Keep any coverage answer beside the quote. Ask about both the visit and any proposed medicine rather than treating them as the same charge.

Read the exit terms before paying.

Ask when a recurring charge begins, how to cancel and what happens to a payment if no medicine is prescribed. Request the refund terms in writing.
